Virus... that creates a random exe file...and changes my wallpaper with the "your computer has been infected "....

Hello Gurus,
I received an email ...that I believe is a virus...
Now I have a wallpaper that says that my computer has been infected.... and I can't change it !!!!!
I ran hijack.exe but didnt find much....
any help ?

Can you post a screenshot of the particular wallpaper?

Windows malicious software removal tool
Use ad-aware, ewido scan, f-secure scan and probably Trend Micro Housecall scan. Also use HiJackThis (do a scan and check every line, if you know this or that software). The problem is that if you allowed one virus to your PC, it's likely that it has already downloaded a number of others and you'll have to clean it.
What is the name of the program on the wallpaper that they ask you to download to clear the infections
