Lotus Domino 8.0 server hang

We are having Lotus domino 8.0. It has been seen that almost once in a day we have to restart the domino server (not the windows server). User having Lotus notes client software don't have any problem but those who are using Domino web access get problem as domino server stops responding to them. It's likely the the fault with "HTTP" server hangs up, which force us to restart the whole domino server (not the windows server). Even the http service won't get restarted when it's hanged. After we restart the domino server (not the windows server) it's start working fine. Is there any way to solve this problem instead of  restarting the whole domino server?

Let me ask you, do you have to restart just the Domino server or the whole Windows server :)) Just kidding...

Have you tried to repair the Domino server's installation (if you try to reinstall, the installer will ask you if you want to Modify, Repair or Remove the installation)?

I installed the Domino server v8.5 a few months ago, for testing purposes and there haven't been any problems.

Here's article about server's crash and hang troubleshooting:

Hope this helps,

Lotus IBM

Lotus Software produced the Lotus 1-2-3 spreadsheet program, and later developed Lotus Notes, a groupware and email system. Following its acquisition by IBM, the Notes and Domino client/server collaborative platform were expanded to include functions such as email, calendars, to-do lists, contacts management, teamrooms, discussion forums, file sharing, microblogging, instant messaging, blogs, and user directories. IBM also release SmartSuite, a comprehensive office suite, and followed that with Symphony, unrelated to the Lotus suite of the same name.
