Token SSL VPN connection file server.

hi

Does any one know of a good service that provides secure access to a file server from anywhere in the world with an interet connection. Someone suggested a token SSL VPN connection but I am not sure how this works.

Use www.logmein.com, its completely free and secured by a 256 bit encrypted connection.
You can access any server from anywhere with an internet connection.

They have just told me they want a hardware device like a usb key which authenticates the connection to the file server....any Ideas?
I take it they mean RSA keys which is usually a keyring/fob device that has a random password geneated in synch with the servers so that the log on password is constantly changing and only those with the fobs can get in. You would have to use these in conjuntion with windows Terminal services or Citrix Presentation Server for access.

Thanks,do you know any good companys that offer this service?
Unless you are located in scotland or the north of England then no. If you are here then Im sure I can recommend someone..

Or do you just mean who sells the rsa keys and software?

Thanks this is good, but I dont like the feature of it reseting the code every 60 seconds. Are there any other companies that provide a similar thing that connects to a file server.. Its quite hard to find.
The feature of it resetting the password is the whole point of RSA keys, if you dont want that then you should look into biometric sign ons i.e fingerprint swipes.
