Need to fix arabic text coming from As400 db as symbols
Hi,
I have a small issue, I am working currently on Access 2000, I have connected to our AS400 database through ODBC connection to the tables in AS. There fields in certain tables containg Arabic text but they apear as symbols, changing the font to an arabic fiont didnt work. I dont know if the AS400 database runs a small software to write in arabic and if there is any calculation to be done on the text string so that it can be converted, maybe characters have to be incremented by a value to their ASCII code or sth...
