Okay, I've set up the install package in Group Policy Manger, and when I reboot my test computer it says that it's installing the software; however, when I log in, I still can't open Word 2007 docs, I get the same message that asks if I would like to download the compatibility pack. &nbsp;When I try to install it manually, it says that I have to be an Administrator. &nbsp;Having or not having admin rights wouldn't affect the GPO install would it?

if you're pushing it via GPO, it doesn't matter that the person logging in does not have admin rights bc it would be running under teh machine acct itself. <br />
Go to Administrative Tools &gt;&gt;&nbsp;Event Viewer, and see what error it gives when the push occurs. &nbsp;It should give you some further insight as to why it didn't push.<br />
<br />
Also - make sure the location of teh installation has proper permissions to allow the computer to access the installation file.

Deploying Office 2007 Compatibility Pack using Group Policy

Software is any set of instructions that directs a computer to perform specific tasks or operations.
