Printing checks w/ MICR line via microsoft sql 2005 reporting service

Hi,

We are in the process of streamlining our check printing and would like to be able to use microsoft sql reporting service to produce checks with the MICR line. I know that we need a certain type of ink and font DIMM installed on the printer which is doable. My question is does sql reporting 2005 have anything already in place that we can take advantage of. The end result we would like to output to an 8 1/2 by 11 sheet of paper with a pre-perforated line and the check printed beneath that line.

The bigger question is can your printer output the MICR line with the precision required by most banks?

Hi Gary,

Can you clarify what you mean by "Check polus remittance advice"
Clarification: apparently I can't type!  "Polus" is a typo for "plus"!

Sorry for the confusion!

Hello again,

So far Gary has provided the best answer, but my original question still remains. To reiterate, does sql reporting 2005 have any templates or the like that can be used to print checks?
No, there is no check printing template provided with RS2005.
