Contact Categories Disappeared After Profile Change

We recently moved our users over to a new domain and as a result a new user profile was created when they logged on to the new domain.  Also, we backed up his mailbox to a pst and then reimported all of it back into his new mailbox.  For some reason, all the categories he had setup in Outlook 2007 have disappeared.  Any thoughts on how to remedy this issue and get the categories back into his current profile on the new domain?
