any help optimizing app refresh/restart cycle in IIS 5.1?

I'm running IIS on a development machine where I commonly edit a few lines of code in an ASP.NET 2.0 web app.  I do the edits in Visual Studio and recompile the project.  Back in Internet Explorer I refresh the page I was looking at in order to see the changes I made.  I would love to drop this refresh down to a couple of seconds because it is always at 10 seconds or above (reloading/restarting the 'new' app).

There's no data on the page, and only a few controls (maybe a dozen).  After the app has restarted, a refresh barely takes half a second.  Are there any tips/tricks to shortening that refresh cycle when IIS sees that the app has changed?

Thanks for any help-
