INI FIle

Is there any better way of accessing infomration in INI file rather use of -
GetPrivateProfileString

No, that's the better way to handle INI files. That's because INI files are not used any more in .NET (but you can do using API).

I don't know what version are you using but in VS2005 or above (don't know the others) you have application settings, registry and XML files.

I call it application settings :-) but I thinks that's not available on .Net Framework 1.1

Am using VB.Net 2008 now. And started converting all our code from .Net 1.1 to 3.5
