I really appreciate your assistance with this. I try to be very careful about getting anything bad into my machine because I have to do alot of work via the internet. I'm maintaining web sites for people that have been built by others and having to accept a lot of files sent to me. I'll often run a deep scan more than once a day. I'm especially vigilant since someone was able to get into one of my web sites and bury a phishing code deep in a subdirectory that I did not create. I'm not sure that my machine was compromised or if it was the hosting company. The offending file was in the server directory but not in my corresponding local directory. I have to be wary but I don't want to chase my tail either. Thank you folks for your help.
