Windows 2003 stuck at the logo screen after reboot from DCPROMO

I did a dcpromo on this 2003 server and make it join a domain. After the dcpromo process is completed, the server reboots. However, it stucks at the logo screen and the horizontal scoller bar shows gray color. The bar is moving but the server does not enter into windows.
Can someone help me fix this issue?

It could be awhile - If there is dns issues it could also cause the problem.
I would let it sit for an hour.  If it doesnt come up after that then I would reboot into safe mode and see whats happening.  Look in event viewer

Either the scsi card is bad or the terminator is bad.
I had a terminator fail on my server attaching my tape drive.
Nice find
