All temporary files should be placed there by default. However, I can't imagine why anything else would, unless one of the above mentioned variables were somehow changed to that directory. This is why i was suggesting you verify the values.

I have one last question. &nbsp;Suppose you set up a terminal server connection and made a &quot;pseudo&quot; 'C:&quot; boot drive for the user (couple of meg) and intended to create actual installs on a &quot;D:&quot; or other drive. &nbsp;I have seen something like this done but never myself. &nbsp;Could this cause the problem?<br />

I finally resulted this problem, which was something I never would have suspected.<br />

which is supposed to record and set the boot directory so the file locations can be set. &nbsp;Now, what I found was the CreateDC was resetting the current directory in some system to the computer user boot directory. &nbsp;For many clients this was not a problem, but a small few this reset occured. &nbsp;To fix it, whenever a CreateDC routine is called I followed with a CD (cRootDir) and the program continues to work correct. &nbsp;I am not sure why this error occurs or why for only a select few customers, but this was the work around.<br />
