Thanks for the link and recommendation IKZ. Its a great software unfortunately these guys are still saying im using a trial version. <br />

They cant tell by my IP because my other computer works behind the same global IP. Perhaps its a mac address. Is there a way to spoof my mac address to test this theory?

i would try deleting it manually from the registry.<br />
open regedit - if you are not used to this, first make a backup (file&gt;export)<br />
then search for teamviewer, or it's company, and delete those keys<br />
depending on the software, there may be a couple, or much<br />
then close regedit, and test

I would suggest emailing the company and explaining the situation to them. &nbsp;Perhaps they have a cleanup tool that they don't tell anyone about in case it is misused.

Yes I emailed them and they changed it over. I believe they do this by checking your MAC address. I will do some test on a VMware machine to test this theory and I will update you all.

Yep. They do in fact check by your mac address. Just goes to show you should never use your real mac address as companies like this will take advantage of it and mark you in their database. So if I use to use this software for a trial as a corporate user and then one day i take my pc home with me and work from home and use it legitimately for home personal use I cannot. <br />

Anyways, for others having difficulty with this, just download etherchange change your mac to anything you would like. Remove teamviewer, and after your mac address has changed just reinstall and select for personal use. <br />

I really hate companies that use this method to tag you, because there is nothing stopping people picking random addresses and even though the odds are like 12^16 it could be yours and you would be wondering why has my trial expired when i just installed it.

I have installed teamviewer a remote support software on my home PC. I use it for personal use however when I installed it I put company instead of personal use because I didn't think it really mattered and I usually just click as fast through standard installers without reading much of the details anyways. <br />

Now I find out the program has a two week trial period. I have uninstalled it, deleted all registry entries and any other files found with its name, but after I install it it tells me my trial period has expired. <br />

Even though I install it on my other PC without any problem as personal use it works just fine, I dont appreciate software companies taking my PC hostage and requiring me to rebuild my PC, is there anyway around this?
