Software recommendations for Imaging Drive

Have Dell Power Edge  server with RAID 1 and RAID 5 running server 2003 and exchange and want to image the entire server for backup purposes only.  Looking for recommendations of software programs that will do this?

Norton Ghost or Acronis are the most common solutions.

jimmymcp02, does clonezilla support cloning to external USB hard drives and things like that?  This was a problem I found in some software.

yes but here is the following limitation
from the site
http://www.clonezilla.org/
///Note/// Due to the limitations of program mkisofs , ocs-iso can not process an image file larger than 4.5 GB. For this reason, if your image is larger than 4.5 GB, ocs-iso will refuse to process it.

but if you have a spare drive (internal) then clonezilla will copy the exact image of your drive and dump it in the spare drive note that if your hard drive size are different lets say source is 40gb and target is 60gb then clozinalla will copy the exact image and dump it in the spare leaving 20gb of unallocated space.

Note: I have not played around with the setting to re-distribute unallocated space instead of cloning the exact image but i think there is an option for it.

Just because you went for a different solution doesn't mean the solutions provided were wrong; as a result, the expert solutions provided should be awarded points, despite the fact you did not use them.

The term "Backup" means the methods and processes involved to copy computer data (system data as well as application data) to media other than the ones where the data originally live (disk, tape, optical, cloud). "Restore" in turn means the methods and processes involved in data recovery, i. e., bringing back copied computer data to their original location. Backup/Restore primarily serves as a means of protection against data loss, be it due to disaster, corruption or sabotage. It can also be used for recovering data from an earlier point in time and even for cloning machines or applications. There is a wide variety of backup/restore software available, from expensive commercial products to free or open source tools.
