mysql stored procedures development tool?

Hi,
recently i switched to Mysql v5 and started using stored procedures. However, the development process goes slow and debugging is very hard. I use another temp table to insert some variables but this is frustrating slow.
Can you please tell me what tool you are using when developing mysql stored procedures? Anything that will speed up the process?
