asked on How do I eliminate "HP Network Devices Support has stopped working" after HP printer install?
this forum suggests i try to remove nvidia access manager to get rid of this recurrent error message. trouble is, i can't find nvidia access manager on this Vista home premium HP machine. I find a nvidia folder , but it contains drivers. no nvidia services are listed in computer management, running or not. There IS a listing for HP CUE DeviceDiscovery Service, which other blogs have indicated might cause the problem, but that service seems to serve a useful purpose and i'd rather keep it. Right now the printer IS working, but it has dropped out of my printers list a couple of times. I trust you guys and want to follow your advice. Thanks.

I'm sorry, but I'm confused. are you saying that nvidia access manager may have been improperly installed, thus causing the error message? I cannot find it anywhere on my computer, and I do not get the error message 'The HP imaging device was not found on the network' Message Displays in Windows', which your citation seems to address, so I'm not sure we are on the same page. thanks for the reply. olivia
