We run DNS on Microsoft server 2003. When I plug my pc on another switch on a different subnet and it pulls a DHCP address, what happens with the A-record? Does it just time out after a period of time and then creates a new one with the new IP address? <br />
Where in the server can I tell how often it does this?<br />

How often do A-records time out in Microsoft DNS Server 2003

Windows Server 2003 was based on Windows XP and was released in four editions: Web, Standard, Enterprise and Datacenter. It also had derivative versions for clusters, storage and Microsoft’s Small Business Server.
