How do I change the Mailbox name when changing the name of a user?
I am changing the name of an employee.
I am using Small Business Server 5.2 running on Windows 2003 SP3
I renamed the user in the SBS manager and then changed all of the appropriate fields in the User properties.
All seems correct until I start Outlook as the user and I still have the old name as the Mailbox name.
How do I effect this change?

There is no supported way to do that - you can hack the metabase with ADSIEdit, but it is far safer to just create a new user and move the data over

Ok... why bother having the "change User Name" function in the SBS Manager then? It seems useless if it won't also change the mailbox name. :)
Let be sure I understand: If an employee gets married or other wise changes his name, the suggested procedure is to create a new user and move all of their data to the new user?
