Vista speech and remote desktop programs

Has anyone successfully used Vista speech recognition with remote desktop applications such as LogMeIn or remote desktop connection or similar programs. I am able to do this quite easily with dragon naturallyspeaking for some reason when I use vista speech recognition, it will not work.
