wireless to wireless router and adoc

I have a linksys wireless router and need to hook up web tv in another room..The web tv device is very flaky on wireless..so I am thinking add a wireless access a point and hook up the web tv on cat 5..Is this possible.

Linksys 2.4 wireless g router attached to cable modem.. in one room.. can I install a access point in the other room?
