The printer is installed on an xp machine not the server. When the xp machine connects to the server via terminal services the hp 6310 is not available to print from the server. I believe this is because there is no driver installed for it on the server. When I try to install the printer driver on the server from the hp website it states the driver is incompatable.

that's what im trying to say....there are no drivers on the hp website for win2k3 server, because they are supposed to be there by default.<br />
supposedly, when you try to install the printer on the server, it should install them automatically.
