So, I have the first generation of intel iMacs. Back then, I knew very little about computers. To be honest, I still know very little, but am too proud to admit it. I had my friend lend me Windows XP and help me set up Boot camp back when it first came out. Now, I'm trying to set up Ubuntu on my same computer because I really like what I see with it and I want to try it for myself. Using my already partitioned hard drive is it possible to triple boot in a safe way. Mind you my computer has 1.83 GHz and only 1GB RAM. Any ideas?

Apple's early computers ran on a variety of operating systems, including a Pascal version and one based on CP/M, before releasing its ProDOS with the advent of its 16-bit computer. Current Apple hardware includes the iPad, iPhone, iMac, Mac Pro, Macbook, iPod and Apple TV. Discontinued hardware includes the Apple I, Apple II, and the Apple III, the Lisa, the Newton, the Quadra, Performa, Centris, Macintosh II and LC series, the Power Macintosh, iBooks and the MacBook.
