You can't make one like that. If the platforms are the same then install on one and image it would work across others. But if there is difference in hardware's then it won't be possible. 
 
May be if the other hardware is generic, then with some manual work it could work after loading the image.

You can create this on DVD, but the drivers folder will be more than one GB depending on how many different PCs you have. 
 
You create your reference PC then drop all the drivers for all your PCs into c:\drivers. &nbsp;You then use a tool called SetupCopyOEM.exe to integrate all the drivers from C:\drivers into C:\Windows\inf so that they all appear &quot;out-of-box&quot; to the OS. 
 
You also want to uninstall all the drivers from the reference machine from Device Manager then run Sysprep. &nbsp;This will ensure there are no specific drivers installed already. 
 
It's a LONG process.

The largest pain in the neck with this is the processor type. You can get around it and I have been doing this for years. 
 
There are some times that you just can't get an image from one system to go onto another, but typically systems with similar hardware do work pretty well. 
 
Here is the article I found a while back you can follow, and the following is the reg tweaks you can copy and save to a .reg file. 
 
The attachment is renamed .txt just save it as .htm

Actually, I found a tool that is as slick as they come for that. &nbsp;It's called MySysprep. 
 
Create a text file with BIOS IDs so the tool can determine what HAL it needs and it does the rest. 
 
Quite slick actually. &nbsp; 
 
The biggest pain I've found is integrating drivers for all the hardware we have. &nbsp;Ugly, to say the least.
