Increasing the size of My terastation

I own a terastation live which has 4 250GB drives in it
I recently acquired 4 1TB Drives
I have all the contents of My terastation backed up
what is the procedure to turn my 1TB Terastation into a 4 TB terastation, I have seen that there are ways to do this by changing the firmware and then telnetting into the root account but this from what I understand will take over 20 Hours to do this , Iwas wandering (seeing as I have all the info backed up) is it possible to just change over the hard drives and rebuild the raid using the web interface
if you have theprocedure for this docemented it would be really helpfull

We upgraded our 4x250GB Terastation Pro w/ 4x1TB drives, but it wasn't easy.
After much pain, we put in the old 250GB drives, powered on, deleted the array, powered off, replaced one drive, attempted a format (which always failed), rebooted, tried to format again (this time succeeding), and repeated power-off, replace 1 new drive, failed format, reboot, successfully formated again until all drives were formated.  THEN we were able to create a RAID 5 array w/ the new drives.

Storage

Computer data storage, often called storage or memory, is a technology consisting of computer components and recording media used to retain digital data. In addition to local storage devices like CD and DVD readers, hard drives and flash drives, solid state drives can hold enormous amounts of data in a very small device. Cloud services and other new forms of remote storage also add to the capacity of devices and their ability to access more data without building additional data storage into a device.
