cannot install citrix client

im trying to install citrix on ubuntu 8.0.4.

i have extracted the files into a folder called citrix under /home/sdelaney/Citrix/

when i run setupwfc in terminal i get the following errors:

/home/sdelaney/Citrix/linuxx86/hinst: 4043: /home/sdelaney/Citrix/linuxx86/echo_cmd: not found

I checked to see if these files exist and they do. the exact same process works fine on another ubuntu machine.

please advise.
