Please do a   route print   before and while your are connected, and post the result. Important are  0.0.0.0 routes.

As I said, it MUST NOT be 1. Set it to 0.

You also said you have disabled it in your connection profile. Please look again if you changed it on the correct connection entry, the one with "[your connection name here] " in PBK file.

If the server you are connected to won't let you split tunnel, it won't let you split tunnel. No matter what settings you set on your side.

A split tunnel is when you allow data over a connection to take two different paths.
In this case, all of your traffic is going over the VPN, to the client's network, and then trying to go to the internet, where it might be getting blocked, or not routed properly.
What you want to happen is that any traffic that isn't specifically going to your client should go directly to your local network, where it would be routed normally. In that case, a split tunnel would allow you to both get to the internet, and your client.

@nalanbar:
Using PPTP and RRAS, I do not know of a means to override that settings by server policies. So how can the server force that setting?
VPN
VPN

A virtual private network (VPN) is a network that uses a public telecommunication infrastructure, such as the Internet, to provide remote offices or travelling users access to a central organizational network securely. VPNs encapsulate data transfers using secure cryptographic methods and other security mechanisms to ensure that only authorized users can access the network and that the data cannot be intercepted.
