Installing Active Directory on local PC

Hi,

Firstly I'm not sure if this is possible but can I install active directory on my local PC aswell as the servers? I find it such a hassle having to log on remotely to a server everytime I want to make a change in AD.

Secondly, how would I go about installing it? Is it as simple as running it on my PC or is a little bit more involved than than that.

Thanks

It also had derivative versions for clusters, storage and Microsoft’s Small Business Server. Important upgrades included integrating Internet Information Services (IIS), improvements to Active Directory (AD) and Group Policy (GP), and the migration to Automated System Recovery (ASR).
