Replication Bandwidth Issue

Hi experts,
I need to put in place a DR solution involving offsite DC at remote office.
Remote office has a MAXIMUM 2mg bandwidth, due to distance from Telephone Exchange.

Currently 3 users connect to HQ Terminal Server from Remote office and 2mg bandwidth is sufficient, with no speed issues to speak of.

I would like to introduce a DC to this equation, linked to HQ where the Terminal Server sits.

My question is...

Due to replication (45 users approx) will the Terminal Server session, at the remote site,  degrade to unacceptable levels of slowness?

Terminal server session is running Outlook, Word, Excel, and bespoke system in Progress database.
Your comments please....
thanks
