using Verisign certs which are valid from a date POV.

IE users receive an error which indicates the certificate cannot be validated and the user should not proceed.

are these errors from inside a private network?  If so, a proxy server could be distorting the certificate.  (example:  you connect to a proxy which connects to hive.isobar.net  Then the cert you are using is actually the proxy's while the proxy uses the isobar.net cert to connect)  Many times proxys will cause this error.

If you aren't using a proxy (on purpose) then someone could be trying to use a malicious software package to get access to your encrypted web site (see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Man-in-the-middle_attack).  To be more absolute, I'd need to see more information about the cert from the "Examine Certificate" screens

I ask about the proxy because I just navigated to hive.isobar.net and the certificate was valid and gave me no problems.
If you are using a proxy like ISA 2006, you need to install the certificate on the proxy as well.

Are you trying to protect OWA using the certificate?

More info please..
