Birthday info on Calendar

Hi,

I have a senior manager who would like to have employee birthdays listed on his calendar.  Although he could add them all individually to his calendar I was wondering if there was a better, more centralized place to pull birthdays (Active Directory?) into the calendar automatically.

My ideal solution would be; after entering the birthdays in a centralized database; to have anyone (perhaps some restrictions) be able to click a mouse and have the employee birthdays show up.

In Outlook 2007 is there a way to customize the calendar so that the birthdays that are in the contacts don't show up on the candar?
