If I reinstalled windows can I still keep the same computer name when I join the computer back to the domain?
We had a machine crash and I had to reinstall windows xp, when I join it back to the domain can I keep the same computer name or do I have to remove the computer name from server and then join the computer with the same name? Not sure if any policy objects will be affected?
