Pinging does not resolve correct DNS

Hi,

I am having issues with my DNS on a Server 2003 Box.  When I ping the server name it replies fine from clients that are on the domain.  But when I try from systems that are not domain computers it pings a public address.  The public address is for DNS error I think.  Everything was working fine last week.  The power went out and now we can't ping correctly.  The main issue with this is that one system is a webserver for an internal site we use.  It is an old box that isn't on the domain.

Basically I want to be able to resolve host names without having to add my laptop to the domain.  Like I said it was working.  Things as simple as RDP have to be done my IP now.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
