Error in CSP script

I'm pretty new to Crystal Reports and not to sure what to do about the error.

Here's the error I get in the browser;
CrystalEnterprise115.SessionMgr.1 error '80042a79'

Unable to connect to CMS . A wrong connection is made to @@ServerName(ServerNAme). Logon cannot continue.

/ShowReport.csp, line 127

Line 127 reads this:
Set Sess = SessionManager.Logon("user_name","password","Servername","secEnterprise")

If anyone can help me out with that would be great as I have been trying to figure this problem for way too long and running out of time.

Is this a customized csp file, or one that shipping with Crystal Server?

That's a good question...this issue got dropped in my lap and the person who use to be the Crystal Admin is long gone.

My guess is custom since the app that was created for all this was custom as well.

Does your custom application login page prompt for a system name/port?  Many articles I've found on this relate to problems with resolving the FDQN of the CMC.

Can you at least log into the CMC via the web &/or Infoview?  That would help to determine what/where the problem might be here.

Thanks for the quick response.

Yes, from a web browser I can login via the web and infoview with the user account that the CSP file is configured to use. I have managed to work through some of the issues with one of our developers yesterday and now we are stuck on another line in the CSP file.

I discovered yesterday the CSP file I'm using was written for Crystal Reports 8.0 and we are not longer using that server and we are now on BO XI. I figured out that this is the line that is causing the problem.
strTemp = "viewrpt.cwr?id=" & CStr(objReport.ID)

The viewprt.cwr does not exist on the server where BO XI is running and we are not sure what to put here so that the report can be viewed via a web broswer. The developer that helped our knows a lot more about CSP files than I do but he is a little stumped on this one. Any ideas or suggestions would be great.

Please let me know if you need any other information or if I have been to vague.

Crystal Reports
Crystal Reports

Crystal Reports is a business intelligence application from SAP SE. It is used to graphically design data connections and report layouts from a wide range of data sources including Excel spreadsheets, Oracle, SQL Server databases and Access databases, BusinessObjects Enterprise business views, and local file-system information. Report designers can place fields from these sources on the report design surface, and can also deploy them in custom formulas (using either BASIC or Crystal's own syntax), which are then placed on the design surface. Crystal Reports also supports subreports, graphing, and a limited amount of GIS functionality.
