Why Excessive Exchange Transaction Logs
Exchange 2k3 sp2, One of the mailbox servers has 2 SG's each with 4 IS's. The 1st SG transaction logs are building up rapidly. There are approximately 700-1000 users plus a PF IS in SG1 Q1. How can I determine why these logs are being generated so fast and where the activity is from? Q2. Will creating a SG3, with an added log drive, help spread out the logs and solve the problem. Q3. Is it a simple process to add another SG and move the MB's to the IS's there?
