User is VPN'ed into the office and can't connect to the exchange server using the outlook LAN settings, it works when connected to the modem directly though.

The user can't get outlook connected to the exchange server configured with LAN settings when behind their home firewall and using our VPN.  I would have set it up with RPC over https but unfortunatley they didn't go that route here.  They can conenct when outside their router.  The vpn tunnel is good because they can get to network drives, so I know that VPN passthrough is working fine.  Any thoughts on how to troubleshoot this?  The name is resolving correctly as well.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
