Comcast cut off my SMPT port, due to possible spam, but can't give more info

My email wasn't sending, so I called Comcast and they said they had blocked my port, but could give me instrucitons on changing ports in Outlook Express. I use Outlook, and think i did change the port, but still not sending. I'm also wondering if my laptop has been breached via malware. Any suggestions?

Ok working through the list...
I'm on my 64 bit laptop, would that be why regsvr32 inetcomm.dll wouldn't work?
virus protection is off
the port has been changed and opened in the firewall
I'm getting this error now "550.5.1.0 Authentication required"
Am I not already using the Comcast SMTP? or trying to at least?
I've also tried another account, which sends but I believe the port is still block, as they are my ISP.
