There are surely alternatives, but for a JFrame you can use the setAlwaysOnTop() method.<br />

Let me describe my situation more. Image exmample was over simplified<br />
<br />
1. I have my main app window, and when i click on a button, a popup control that affects the main window is displayed.<br />
2. When I move my main window, let's say 50 pixels to the right, the popup has to move coinciding with main window. <br />
3. I can invoke my main app window (click, type, etc) with the popup displayed. (so no modal dialog)

Hi object,<br />
The problem with JDialog is that if the dialog is modal, then i can't do anything to the main window. I need to.<br />
The problem with non-modal dialog is that when i click on the main window, the dialog is behind the main window (hidden). I need this popup to be visible at all times, and able to click on the main window.
