dv9000 laptop - turning off "Native SATA" in the bios

Im trying to find out where to turn off Native SATA in the bios of my dv9000 laptop.  I have PhoenixBIOS and I dont seem to have the options Im used to having with other BIOSes.

Ultimately I want to install XP on a laptop that came with Vista.

If someone could give some tips on installing XP on this thing, Id appreciate it.  But ultimately I need to turn off SATA.  Thats the priority of this question.  Thanks!

Windows XP

Microsoft Windows XP is the sixth release of the NT series of operating systems, and was the first to be marketed in a variety of editions: XP Home and XP Professional, designed for business and power users. The advanced features in XP Professional are generally disabled in Home Edition, but are there and can be activated. There were two 64-bit editions, an embedded edition and a tablet edition.
