Right to left aligned emails are received always as left to right alignment
Hi.
client is on Win XP, sp2, Office 2007 english version
Server - SBS 2003
Problem description:
when sending emails aligned to the right (both in hebrew and english), they are received always aligned to the left.
It occurs only on one mailbox in the domain.
I tried to define it on a different workstation, to log in as administrative user to Windows and then open the mailbox - still the same problem.
Both cash mode and online.
Didn't find anything related on the user mailbox.
I've looked everywhere in outlook client options - nothing helped.

If it is only this one mailbox, have you tried deleting and recreating the user account and reconnecting the mailbox to it. If that doesn't work, then you might try Exmerging the mailbox to a PST, deleting the account, recreating the account and Exmerging the mailbox back in.

Is there any other way?
No option or setting that can be changed/reconfigured on the server/client?

This is based on the language setting of the client software and computer. Although I would not put it past Outlook to make such format changes to an email and then save it.

shows where to change the settings in outllok 2007 for the global Text direction. I believe that there is an option for "Context" which will try and figure out what language is in the email.

A little difficult to tell from your post, but you have tried opening the mailbox on a different machine? Have you tried to read new emails on the test system or just the old ones? (this with the idea that the original Outlook changed the format)
Where you able to open a working mailbox with the same login and it still displayed correctly? (The language settings are per user, so they would have to be set on the administrative user)

Thanx for the reply. I've already been through every option on the client (outlook 2007). I started with the global text direction and tried both right-to-left and the context option.
Like I originally posted, it occurs only with one certain mailbox, I tried already on several machines and of course the tests were made on new messages.
I noticed that the email messages arrive as Plain Text, even though they are sent in HTML format.
That occurs also on this certain mailbox only.
I sent the same messages (HTML format) to 2 different mailboxes, and it arrived as plain text to the problematic mailbox only.
Any ideas?
