Program that uses SQL Server and crystal reports crashing with error, workstation specific not user specific.

Some users are reporting the following errors coming up when running a specific report in a custom application.  the problem is specific to the workstation and not to the users.  The errors are below:

First error:

ODBC error [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]String or binary data would be truncated.

The second error that pops up once ok is clicked:

Run-time error 20527: SQL server error.

I looked up the error and it was suggested that there was a problem with the ODBC connection but i checked the settings and they are as they should be.

Microsoft SQL ServerCrystal Reports
