Current Exchange 2003 Standard Edition SP2 Configuration
1. One Site
2. One Front End Exchange OWA Server
3. One Back End Exchange Server
4. Database nearly maxed out at 73 GBS
We now have a second site which uses a T1 connection to connect to our main office. Email from there to here takes up alot of bandwidth. I was thinking of having a local Exchange Server at the new site which brings up several questions.
1. Can I have the same Front End - Back End set up with a different storage group at the new site. This would help with the maxed out data store on the existing data store by basically dividing it in half. I am told that my version of Exchange (2003 with sp2) can have 2 storage groups but one is used for emergency recovery.
2. I guess I am just asking basically, what is the best way to set this up?
