End program in code

I have an issue on my small vb.net 2008 program. All it does is just moving files.  It works perfectly fine on XP. But when I moved it to Win 2003 server, I scheduled it to run, it rans, but the process won't end. Is there a way to end my process in code instead of Scheduled Task?
