Databases are organized collections of data, most commonly accessed through management systems including schemas, tables, queries and processes that allow users to enter and manipulate the information or utilize it in other fashions, such as with web applications or for reporting purposes.

What exactly do you want to do here?? Do you want to backup CRM for D.R. purposes or redeploy to another system??
If you just want to back up the data for 1 or more CRM tenancy's then back up that/those databases. If you have any on disk plugins then you should back those up as well as well as any custom web pages that integrate with CRM.
