asked on

I can I confirm asp.net 2.0 is running?

I have created a virtual directory in the Default website on my server.  I have made sure that I have asp.net 2.0 allowed in the web service extensions.  But how do I make sure that I have asp.net 2.0 running on a virutal directory.  I have gone to the properties of the virtual diretory but I am not able to see where I confirm that this is running asp.net 2.0 instead of asp.net 1

Thanks,

How about using:

   Environment.Version.ToString()

on your page?

Well, that's ASP.NET 2.0 indeed :)

Actually, you can select what ASP.NET version you use from IIS for a certain webapp. And you can specify what the requirements are for a webapp in the web.config file. The ASP.NET version that you specify must match the one in web.config.

abel,

thanks for the replies.

I am thinking that something is not set up correctlly in my server.  I have two images here.  One is of the web Server extenstions and the other is of the website properties.  I am not able to find anywhere where I can set this to asp.net 2.0.
