Try this, download and install AutoIT v3 <a href="http://www.autoitscript.com/autoit3/downloads.shtml" rel="ugc">http://www.autoitscript.com/autoit3/downloads.shtml</a>&nbsp;also recommend downloading and installing AutoIt Script Editor found on the same page.<br />

Description - AutoIt v3 is a freeware BASIC-like scripting language designed for automating the Windows GUI and general scripting.<br />
<br />
Once downloaded and installed open the AutoIT Script Editor (Scite) copy and paste the attached code snippet and save the file for instance &lt;Path to AutoCad Setup&gt;\CustomSetup.au3. &nbsp;Now within Scite click Tools - Build this will create an executable in the same folder that you saved the .au3 file, it will be named CustomSetup.exe if you use the naming convention suggested.<br />

So what does it do, well basically it runs the unattended setup line, as suggested in AppDeploy <br />

Now you're probably wandering why wrap it, well the reason is, Distribution Point Folders are all different, so for example.<br />

What this script does is changes the paths to match where ever it's being run from, so if you had this sitting on your C:\Data folder it would attempt to run C:\Data\Setup.exe C:\Data\ACAD.ini so as long as you keep the CustomSetup.exe alongside your Setup.exe file and your ACAD.ini file than it will run as required. &nbsp;In SMS All you need to do than is point to the CustomSetup.exe for deployment.<br />

When you make the Customsetup.exe on autoIT. Is it friendly using it on SMS server 2003. I rememeber one time the exe file kept showing on the notification icon and never disappear. But that was a different program I was trying to automate. <br />

I wrap almost all my packages with AutoIT, so it shouldn't be an issue, the #NoTrayIcon should keep the Icon from the System Tray, also if a program does fail, it usually is because the software you're attempting to install cannot run under the System Account or it requires interaction.<br />

I am planning to install the True View 2009 first before the AutoCad2009. I have the snapshot of the files for True vIew2009. Can you show me how to create AutoIT script so it uses this script silently to install the TrueView 2009 on number of PCs using SMS. <br />
I actally tried msi package that I created but for somereason after the install the user started getting unexceptional issues when starting TrueView. but when I ran the orginal setup.exe manually on the some user PC the user indicated it is working fine. I prefer to use the setup.exe, if you have the command line that will be ok also. <br />

I have put in a new question for True View 2009 deployment and I did what you recommended. I received run time error that was one and the other thing I noticed wasn I get a the window setup initialization &nbsp;and then the others showing the progress bar. can this be suppressed on the setup.ini file or this is something through the command line.<br />

Deploying AutoCAD 2009

Software is any set of instructions that directs a computer to perform specific tasks or operations. Computer software consists of programs, libraries and related non-executable data (such as documentation). Computer software is non-tangible, contrasted with computer hardware, which is the physical component of computers. Software written in a machine language is known as "machine code". However, in practice, software is usually written in high-level programming languages than machine language. Software

Windows Server 2003 was based on Windows XP and was released in four editions: Web, Standard, Enterprise and Datacenter. It also had derivative versions for clusters, storage and Microsoft’s Small Business Server. Important upgrades included integrating Internet Information Services (IIS), improvements to Active Directory (AD) and Group Policy (GP), and the migration to Automated System Recovery (ASR).

Windows Server 2003

Microsoft Windows XP is the sixth release of the NT series of operating systems, and was the first to be marketed in a variety of editions: XP Home and XP Professional, designed for business and power users. The advanced features in XP Professional are generally disabled in Home Edition, but are there and can be activated. There were two 64-bit editions, an embedded edition and a tablet edition.
