Archiving Exchange store

Please let us know how are you archiving the emails. Any tools you are using?

I was thinking of using the feature under exchange (System Manager, Mailbox Store, Archive all messages send or received by this store). Do you have any other suggestions?

Ok you are talking about Exchange Journaling. There is no need to go for a separate archive server. Once you click the option, you need to specify one mailbox where you want to archive the emails. This feature is something like BCCs all the incoming and outgoing emails to the specified mailbox.

But you should be careful with the legal aspect of this, as you can be able to see all the emails of all the users. You should first check for the company policy that you have the right to view other's emails.

Again depending upon the number of users and size of the emails, the mailbox size grows very fast.
