Exchange 2007 POP3 not working
Hi Experts,
I cannot get Exchange 2007 POP3 to work. I have installed SP1 so i can make the necessary changes through the GUI. I have started the POP3 service and enabled plain text logins.
I have tried logging on as:
username
domain\username
domain\username\alias
The username an alias are the same anyway. I just keep getting username rejected.

Yes i have tried that. Still not luck.

I have read that article and changed the authentication to plain text.
I have restarted the service and it still doesn't work.

I just want to ask first if this user could normally login using OWA or other methods? Just trying to isolate that it is not a user issue nor a general Exhcange issue but limited to POP3.

So I guess it was a user issue.
nah, its an issue with the Admin who created the user. funny side of IT :D
