However, your tips didn't help. When I log on as local administrator and remove any keyboard language, this setting only applies to administrator. Affected roaming user still sees three keyboards as before. Also tried the registry tip, didn't help either.<br />

Didn't help. Anyway, this is not possible option, since we have 20+ roaming profile users, using the workstations randomly - giving access to this key to every domain user on every workstation would be just too much administrative work.<br />

not really you woul just create a security group within ad for that specific task, add teh 20 plus users to that group then push the registry pemrission change out using xcalcs but if it doesnt work then thats a bad idea<br />

I don't really know the reason, it's our client and they just want to remove keyboard languages they don't use. I guess its because they have to use shift+alt combination three times in order to switch to the language they need.<br />

I have experimented on various PC's and it seems this problem is workstation-specific, I have tried several users on one workstation without this problem. I have used several users on other workstation - every logged on user has the problem.<br />

I will try some more later to isolate the problem. Thanks for all your suggestions and help.

so is it that it doesnt remember the input locale? i think it defaults to what was last used on teh machine, any user shoudl eb able to change it through the keyboard applet in teh control panel but only admins can remove or add locale's

Yes, the system does not remember added or removed input locale (in this case we need to remove one particular language), when logged on as regular user. When I add the user as a local administrator on the machine, it does not make any difference. As I've stated before, adding/removing user or permissions on workstations is not option, since we have 20+ roaming profile users and 20+ workstations, used randomly. <br />

I should probably note that we have migrated these profiles from old domain controller to freshly reinstalled one with different domain name. Yes, every user has full access rights to his own profile folder on the server.

Well, we were able to fix the problem. Problem was in roaming profiles themselves, they were somehow corrupted. After deleting old roaming profile and let it recreate new one and copying backed up data back to the profile, everything worked as expected.<br />
