I have the very same problem before. My best guess was, cryxtal report XI is not compatible with vb 6.0.<br />

If you will notice even if you have crystal report XI installed on your machine, if you will look at VB's menu Project &gt;&nbsp;More Active X designers, there wouldn't even be a sign of Crystal Report there.<br />

I have tried the Crystal Reports website but there is no response for that very same question.<br />
<br />
If you don't want to get stuck longer, i would recommend that you use Crystal reports 8.5.<br />

Crystal XI is compatible with VB6. &nbsp;Any versions after that probably are not since they have dropped the COM interface.<br />
<br />
Going back to CR8.5 is not rally an option since the report files from CR XI are not compatible with CR8.5.<br />

I installed the program onto a clients computer and then copied the reports over via a flash drive maintaining the directory structure.

Try copying that report again. &nbsp;We did similar copies and occasiionally a report didn't copy correctly but a recopy worked.<br />

I've narrowed the problem down to reports where I pass parameters... &nbsp;Other reports, customer lists, etc, print fine.<br />

The code is pretty simply... &nbsp;I clear the data, pass the &quot;lab number&quot; and print. &nbsp;<br />
Remember that this works fine in the development environment.<br />

In an attempt to be as vague as possible, Crystal Reports mentions something about Merge Modules. &nbsp;Does this have anything to do with the problem.<br />

Support for VB6 is dwindling as is support for all COM based langiages in favor of .Net<br />
<br />
The merge modules are used to hel build an MSI package. &nbsp;PDW doesn't build an MSI.<br />
<br />
You might need to use a different tool to build the installation package.<br />

You can try to use installshield for those. You can download the MSM's needed to deploy apps with vb 6.0.<br />
<br />
Installshield 2008 is free to try for 30 days. Try to give it a shot. But as i posted before, i gave up on Crystal Report XI and VB 6.0

Cannot view report in Crystal XI

Crystal Reports is a business intelligence application from SAP SE. It is used to graphically design data connections and report layouts from a wide range of data sources including Excel spreadsheets, Oracle, SQL Server databases and Access databases, BusinessObjects Enterprise business views, and local file-system information. Report designers can place fields from these sources on the report design surface, and can also deploy them in custom formulas (using either BASIC or Crystal's own syntax), which are then placed on the design surface.
