Server has custom Bios installed, How to restore Dell Bios

I purchased a user PE1950 server.  When I powered it on I noticed it has a custom bios installed.  It is from a company called LNXI.  I looked them up on the web and they are no longer in business and bought by another compnay.

My questions is, how can I reinstall the DELL standard bios for this server?  Is it as easy as loading the bios upgrade from floppy?

The reson I want to install the DELL bios is that the dell 1950 preinstallation CD tells me that the server is not compatible for use with the tool.

The BIOS is a Phoenix ROM BIOS PLUS version 1.10 0.0.5

Actually, engineers at Dell develops scripts to enable factory setting of the BIOS customizations. And as per Dell you may re-freeze BIOS at new level, i.e, Normal BIOS update. If the server is in warranty, I think you need to contact CFI Program Manager for these script.

The /Forcetype worked fine.  I did not do icremental upgrade but jumped right to the latest and greatest version of the bios.  No issues now.  Thanks.
